We are seeking a friendly and reliable Nursery Assistant to join our team at St Andrew’s Prep School in Eastbourne.
If you like spending your day finding the biggest puddles to jump in, searching for minibeasts, getting covered in glitter, making a muddy swamp for dinosaurs, or organising a teddy bears’ picnic in the woods, then this is the role for you!
We are seeking two friendly and reliable Nursery Assistants to join our team at St Andrew's Prep School in Eastbourne. You'll be joining a high-performing team, and with exciting developments underway, this is a fantastic time to join us.
As a Nursery Assistant, you will work closely with and support the Room Leader to ensure that children receive the highest possible standards of care and education. We are looking for individuals with a caring, patient and proactive approach to working with young children.
Applicants must hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) and have a sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
We are looking to make full-time, all-year-round appointments and are currently recruiting for two positions with the following working patterns:
Working Patterns:
Position 1: Monday: 7.45am–6.15pm; Tuesday to Friday: 7.45am–4.15pm
Position 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 7.45am–4.15pm; Thursday: 7.45am–6.15pm
While our preference is to appoint candidates on a full-time, all-year-round basis, we would also be pleased to hear from applicants seeking part-time and/or term-time-only working arrangements. We encourage candidates to indicate their preferred working pattern as part of their application.
