We wish to appoint a part-time (approximately 0.5) Teacher of English from September 2026 and will be for one year (1 September 2026 – 9 July 2027) in the first instance.
We wish to appoint a part-time Teacher of English from September 2026 and will be for one year (1 September 2026 – 9 July 2027) in the first instance. This is an opportunity to work in a highly regarded and successful girls’ independent school with motivated pupils and a very supportive ethos.
This part-time post (approximately 0.5) has arisen from the internal promotion of one of the existing members of the department, and is suitable for an experienced teacher with a proven track record of teaching English, or a returner to the profession. Although focused primarily on KS3, the opportunity to teach at GCSE and/or A level may be available for the right applicant.
The successful candidate should be prepared to play a full role in the life of the School and be able to offer a contribution to the co-curricular programme.
