We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Gardener to help maintain and develop the beautiful grounds of Ashford School.

Description

The successful candidate will assist with the upkeep of lawns, flower beds, shrubs, trees, and outdoor spaces, ensuring the grounds remain safe, attractive, and welcoming for pupils, staff, and visitors throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

• General gardening and grounds maintenance.
• Lawn care including mowing, edging, and watering.
• Planting, pruning, weeding, and seasonal bed maintenance.
• Maintaining pathways and outdoor areas to a high standard.
• Supporting the Grounds Team with seasonal projects and landscaping tasks.
• Ensuring safe working practices are followed at all times.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Have previous gardening or horticultural experience.
• Be hardworking, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Take pride in maintaining high standards.
• Be physically fit and willing to work outdoors in all seasons.
• Have a positive and flexible approach to work.
