This is a key appointment within the English department, with a particular focus on delivering high quality teaching at examination level. The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting the delivery of GCSE English in the Lower Fifth, addressing a current gap in capacity and expertise within the department, and contributing to A Level teaching in the Upper Sixth.
The timetable will span four days per week and will include teaching English to both Lower Fifth (GCSE) and Upper Sixth (A Level) pupils. The role requires a confident classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge and the ability to secure excellent academic outcomes, particularly in public examinations.
In addition to English, the postholder will contribute to the School’s Drama provision.
