A full-time House Matron / Pastoral Care Assistant is required to join the Matron / Pastoral Care Assistant team from September 2026.
To cover JERVIS and KINGSDOWN – girls boarding houses (aged 13-18)
A full-time House Matron / Pastoral Care Assistant is required to join the Matron / Pastoral Care Assistant team from September 2026. At King’s we pride ourselves in offering a supportive, nurturing and pastorally secure environment for all our pupils. The House Matron / Pastoral Care Assistant supports the Housemaster/mistress in the personal development of every pupil in the house.
The successful applicant will need to have experience of working with young people and have a well-organised and caring approach, with plenty of energy and enthusiasm. Good IT skills are essential. Working hours are on a shift pattern covering 6 days a week during term time plus several days before the start and after the end of every term.
