The King’s School, Canterbury is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Sports Graduate with a specialism in Lacrosse to join our thriving and ambitious Sports Department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop coaching and pastoral experience within a leading independent boarding school.
Lacrosse is a well-established and highly valued sport at King’s, with strong participation across Junior and Senior levels and a competitive fixture list, including entry into the National Schools Tournament. You will support the delivery and development of lacrosse across the Autumn and Lent terms.
In the Summer term, you will be expected to coach one of the School’s core sports (cricket, girls’ cricket, athletics, rounders or tennis). You will also play a key role in boarding life, undertaking evening and weekend duties as part of a House team.
We are looking for a motivated individual with strong organisational skills, a willingness to contribute to the wider co-curricular programme, and the ability to engage positively with pupils, staff and parents.
Accommodation (shared and / or attached to a boarding house) will be provided, as well as other benefits such as on-going training and equipment as required. School meals are available during term time and gold membership at the King’s School Recreation Centre.
