The King’s School, a distinguished independent school with a long tradition of academic excellence and global outlook, is seeking an enthusiastic Global Studies Teacher to join our 2026 Summer School. Welcoming students aged 8–17 from the UK and around the world, the programme offers dynamic academic learning alongside a rich co‑curricular experience.

As a Global Studies Teacher, you will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire students to think critically about international affairs, cultures, and global challenges. You will plan creative, student‑centred sessions that respond to mixed abilities, nurture confidence in discussion, and promote curiosity about the wider world. Alongside exceptional teaching, you will monitor progress, contribute to assessments and reports, and uphold the high academic standards expected within an independent school environment.

The role also involves supporting students pastorally, fostering a warm and inclusive atmosphere that reflects the ethos of a residential boarding community. Collaboration is key—you will work closely with the Academic Director and wider academic team to enrich and refine the Global Studies curriculum.

We welcome applications from passionate, knowledgeable educators with experience teaching their subject.

Residential accommodation and meals are provided.
