Teacher or Graduate Teacher of Physics

We seek applications from well-qualified graduates to teach Physics (and possibly some Chemistry and/or Biology). The applicant should be able to demonstrate a breadth of both teaching styles and academic interests.

Based in the beautiful setting of the Precincts of Canterbury Cathedral and St Augustine’s Abbey – a World Heritage Site – The King’s School is one of the oldest and most prestigious Schools in the country with an enviable record of academic excellence and achievement.

We seek applications from well-qualified graduates to teach Physics (and possibly some Chemistry and/or Biology). The applicant should be able to demonstrate a breadth of both teaching styles and academic interests.

Successful applicants will be graduates of Physics or a related subject and will have the opportunity of teaching across the year groups. A PGCE or equivalent is desirable but not essential, and no teaching experience is necessary: we welcome applications from experienced teachers as well as recent graduates and those making a change of career.
