Due to the opening of our Senior School and the introduction of Entrepreneurialism and Business GCSE, St Hugh's School seeks to appoint an outstanding and inspirational Head of Business Studies and Entrepreneurialism, who will lead and develop a dynamic and forward-thinking Business Studies department.

This is a part-time leadership role for an enthusiastic educator with a passion for business, entrepreneurship and innovation. The successful candidate will teach Business Studies from KS3 to GCSE level, while developing and leading a programme of Entrepreneurialism that encourages pupils to think creatively, identify opportunities, solve problems, manage risk and develop the skills required for future success.

The postholder will be responsible for the strategic leadership, management and development of Business Studies across KS3 and KS4, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and academic achievement, while embedding entrepreneurial thinking within the wider culture of the School.

St Hugh's is a highly regarded coeducational day and boarding school. We are situated on a beautiful green campus of 65 acres in the South Oxfordshire countryside, only 25 minutes from Central Oxford. Our Senior School opened in September 2026. It is a very exciting time to be joining St Hugh’s.

The post holder will report directly to the Deputy Head Academic. This is a part-time position, working approximately a 40% contract. Working pattern to be discussed. There is the potential for the role to become full-time in the future or immediately if the successful candidate can offer other subjects.
