We are looking for a Head of Racquets at Caterham School who is responsible for developing and enhancing the Tennis, Badminton, Table Tennis and Padel performance of pupils, ensuring broad participation, and creating a motivating, well-organised racquets programme for the Caterham community.
A Head of Sport at Caterham School is responsible for enhancing pupils’ athletic performance, sustaining high levels of participation, and
designing a motivating and well-organised sports programme for the entire Caterham community. A Head of Sport should act as a role
model, demonstrating professionalism and sportsmanship at all times. They should drive participation among pupils and staff throughout
the year, including the Saturday sport programme.
The Head of Racquets at Caterham School is primarily responsible for driving performance and participation in the Tennis programme, whilst
also building competitive programmes in Badminton, Table Tennis and Padel. The role will report to the Director of Sport, and they will
ensure broad participation by creating a motivating, well-organised racquets programme. The role also works closely with athletic
development staff to ensure pupils have the best chance of selection into performance pathways. There may be opportunities for the
successful candidate to work across the Caterham Family of Schools.
