Hoe Bridge School is seeking an English Teacher to teach from Year 4 to Year 8. With a strong background in delivering English, your passion for writing, reading, and discussion will inspire a love for English in all pupils.
You will be an inspiring teacher and a passionate advocate for your subject with the ability to communicate with, enthuse and motivate young people. Your own record of academic engagement and achievement will be outstanding. With a strong background in delivering English from Year 4 to Year 8, you will demonstrate the expertise to challenge and extend the most capable pupils while providing support and encouragement to those who find the subject more demanding. Within this role, you will work closely with the Head of English (Prep) to implement our ambitious curriculums and development plans and ensure that the curriculum is cohesive, progressive, and aligned across year groups. This will provide a seamless transition for pupils as they advance through their educational journey.
You will represent the department with professionalism and enthusiasm, earning the respect of pupils, staff, and parents alike. As a well-qualified, dynamic educator with vision, warmth, and a sense of humour, you will work collaboratively with your peers and take pride in supporting and encouraging all pupils.
