Director of Futures

Reporting to the Senior Deputy Head Academic, the Director of Futures plays a pivotal role in preparing students for life beyond school.
This strategic leadership position is responsible for designing and delivering a comprehensive careers and futures programme that spans from Lower School through to Sixth Form.
The role includes oversight of careers events, the KGS Accelerator programme, work experience and apprenticeships ensuring students are informed, inspired, and equipped to make confident decisions about their futures. The Director of Futures along with the Head of Sixth Form jointly oversees the work of the Higher Education Lead.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in careers education, university admissions, or related fields plus knowledge of current issues in futures education.
This is a permanent, full-time post working 40 hours per week in term time (Monday to Friday), plus three weeks (180 hours) to allow for time to attend evening events, A level results, parent and student careers events.
