Recruitment Coordinator

In this newly created role, the Recruitment Coordinator sits within the Human Resources Department to assist with the delivery of an efficient and compliant recruitment service across the school.
This role supports HR in implementing the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring that all hiring processes are aligned with safer recruitment practices, safeguarding requirements, and the school’s commitment to attracting high-quality staff.
This role will coordinate the end-to-end recruitment processes for teaching and support roles as directed and act as the primary point of contact for candidates, responding to email and phone enquiries. The coordinator will assist with interview logistics, scheduling and preparing interview packs and candidate documentation, plus the pre-employment checks required.
The ideal candidate will be confident and have a professional manner, with excellent communication and IT skills. You will be highly organized, adaptable, and able to multitask effectively while working under pressure. The ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and the wider school community is also necessary to succeed in this role.
This role is offered on a permanent basis working term time plus four additional weeks in the school holidays.
During school terms the role is Monday to Friday, working a minimum of 30 hours per week with a start time of 8.00am or 8.15am. During the school holidays, there can be flexibility in hours and remote working. A job share arrangement may also be considered.
