School Administrator: Deputy Head (Pastoral) & Sixth Form

Kingston Grammar School are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and personable School Administrator to support the Deputy Head (Pastoral) and the Sixth Form team.

This is a key role providing comprehensive administrative and pastoral support across the school, with a particular focus on Sixth Form provision.

The successful candidate will work closely with students, staff, and parents daily. They will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, the ability to multitask, and a flexible, “can-do” approach. A high level of discretion and professionalism is essential.

The ideal candidate will have a warm, confident, and professional manner, with excellent communication and IT skills, including high proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel. You will be highly organized, adaptable, and able to multitask effectively while working under pressure and with minimal supervision. Energy, positivity, and a proactive approach are essential, along with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and the wider school community. A flexible attitude and willingness to support other administrative areas and provide cover when needed are key to success in this role.

This role is offered on a permanent basis working term time plus 10 days in the school holidays.

During the term time the role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with a start time of 8.00am.

The salary for this role is circa £30,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.
