This role will be on a self-employed basis for the Autumn Term (September 2026 until December 2026), with the potential for this to be extended. The role-holder will be required to work for 3 hours per day, between 9.00am and 12.00pm, Monday to Friday, during term time.
The successful applicant will have experience of working with children who have attention and social communication difficulties.

- Carry out other reasonable duties as required by the Headmaster and commensurate with the role.
Interested applicants are encouraged to submit a completed application as soon as possible. The School reserves the right to interview and appoint before the closing date, should a suitable candidate present themselves.
Ripley Court School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The School may carry out online searches on shortlisted applicants and all applicants will be required to provide details of their online profiles, including social media account names/handles, as part of their application.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and Ripley Court School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
