Royal Alexandra & Albert School
The Royal Alexandra and Albert School has experienced extraordinary success over the last few years. Excellent results combined with affordable boarding fees (around £4,000 per term) have made this the first choice for many parents seeking boarding education for their child. Set in 260 acres of glorious parkland, this boarding school takes boys and girls from age 7 to 18.
The Royal Alexandra and Albert School has over 420 boarders at the school, out of a total of 910 pupils. This school is a rarity in that it is one of only a tiny number of maintained schools in the country which is a true boarding school - in the sense that boarders outnumber day boarders and there are lessons on Saturday mornings. Consequently we run a major programme of activities of all types during term time and also have much longer holidays! We are a non-selective school that nevertheless achieves excellent results, with 63% of pupils achieving five or more good passes at GCSE including English and Maths. Our Primary results are also among the best in Surrey.
