Human Resources Operations Coordinator
Salary from £29,500 per annum depending on experience
Based in Horsham, Christ’s Hospital is a unique co-educational boarding school and charitable foundation that provides first class education to around 900 children from all backgrounds, supported by over 500 members of staff.
Applications are invited for this busy full-time post, which is integral to supporting the smooth running of our HR department. The role is varied and flexible. You will be required to work as part of the team on different aspects of work, but you will also be working on your own while managing your administrative responsibilities so will need to be self-motivated and able to effectively organise your own workload.
An HR Coordinator role is a great way to get into a career in HR as it gives exposure to a wide range of issues both within HR as well as across the School. The School will consider supporting the successful candidate to achieving CIPD qualifications as appropriate. The ideal candidate will be proactive and professional who can demonstrate administrative experience.
The successful applicant will be personable, efficient, organised and versatile with experience in a fast moving and complex environment. Excellent IT skills are required, especially Excel and Word and experience of working with databases is an advantage. This is a permanent, full time (35 hours per week), year-round position. Benefits include 31 days’ holiday (includes all public holidays), a stakeholder pension scheme for eligible staff, free on-site parking, use of the Employee Assistance Programme and Aviva Digicare+ Scheme (including 24-hour online GP appointments), free lunch during term-time and discounted membership of the on-site Sports Centre.
