An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative, dynamic and inspiring Programme Coordinator to join Mount Kelly and lead the development of our newly established Business School within the Sixth Form. The role is full time and permanent.

We seek a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher who is eager to deliver a forward-thinking business, enterprise and entrepreneurship curriculum. The successful candidate will be committed to academic excellence while also preparing pupils for the rapidly changing world beyond school. This is a teaching role at its heart, requiring someone who can inspire intellectual ambition, stretch high achieving pupils and promote a genuine interest in business education.

The Programme Coordinator will deliver high energy, seminar style sessions as part of the Sixth Form Elective & Enrichment programme, ensuring pupils engage with contemporary case studies, real world issues and applied learning. Alongside this, the postholder will take responsibility for shaping and developing the Business School curriculum – ensuring it remains rigorous, relevant and aligned with current educational, technological and industry developments.

Candidates should possess excellent classroom practice, a strong academic background in Business, Economics or a related discipline, and preferably experience of delivering post-16 education. A tech-forward mindset, an interest in curriculum innovation, and the ability to connect theory to real world practice are essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to play a full part in the life of our busy boarding school which is located on the outskirts of the attractive market town of Tavistock on the edge of Dartmoor National Park in Devon.
