St John's School, Sidmouth

St John’s School is an independent day and boarding school in Devon for boys and girls aged 2 -18, located on a hill overlooking the sea in the beautiful Regency town of Sidmouth. We are a relatively small school that caters for around 200 local day students combined with a 50 strong contingent of international boarders from more than 10 countries around the globe.

The School aims to provide excellence in education within an international perspective.  As an IES (International Education Systems) School our aim is to provide excellence in education with an international perspective and the school benefits from strong support and a diverse range of opportunities for our students at our sister schools in Europe, South Africa and the US. Through dynamic programmes, St John’s strives to develop leaders for the future who are collaborative, communicative, enquiring, respectful and creative individuals with a passion for lifelong learning. Pupils are encouraged to integrate effectively in local, national and international communities. The school has extensive grounds, all weather tennis and netball courts, a large sports hall, indoor tennis courts and cricket nets and a 20 metre indoor/outdoor heated swimming pool.
