West Buckland School is situated in a beautiful location near Exmoor. Our exciting period of capital development includes an outstanding sports centre, an award-winning art and design centre, with theatre and, in 2015, a Sixth Form boarding house containing 70 en-suite bedrooms and spacious social areas. We offer a remarkable range of opportunities in music, sport, drama and outdoor pursuits. This is a lively place with a vibrant sense of community, where the standard of care for all pupils is very high.

School life for West Buckland’s senior pupils is a challenging and stimulating experience. We have high standards and our pupils aim high but this is a community where the quality of relationships and the needs of individuals matter more than examination league tables.
