Sunninghill Preparatory School

Sunninghill Preparatory School is a co-educational iaps for children aged 9 months to 13 in Dorset. Situated in the heart of Dorchester it benefits from extensive grounds including a swimming pool, tennis courts and a playing field.

A family-orientated school, where every child is treated as an individual, whatever their strengths and weaknesses, and taught to be a valued member of the school and the wider community. We see education as an investment and deliver a broad challlenging curriculum including music, art, drama and sport. Every child aged 6-13 takes part in exams organised by the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art; our record to date in these exams is exceptional. We are also extremely proud of our Outdoor Education Programme, which the ISI report identified as a 'particular strength'. In addition the quality of our Early Years Foundatioin Stage provision was deemed 'outstanding'.
