This exciting opportunity arises as the School has welcomed the first girls into the First Form (Year 7) this September.
This vacancy is for a part-time (0.5 - 0.6 FTE) Teacher of Geography to deliver a thriving and popular subject at St Albans, taught by enthusiastic colleagues fascinated by the world around them. The Department consists of six Geography teachers and a Teacher of Humanities, based at the top end of the School site among the historic buildings. There is a collegiate approach within the department which ensures consistency while allowing individual teachers to bring their own strengths and creativity to the classroom.
St Albans is a beautiful Cathedral city, with a lively cultural life, surrounded by countryside but only 20 minutes from London by train, with easy access to motorways and airports.
