Are you passionate about inspiring creativity and nurturing young artists?
Longridge Towers School is seeking an imaginative and enthusiastic Teacher of Art and Design to join our vibrant, all-through school community. This part-time, permanent role (0.7 FTE) offers the opportunity to teach pupils Art across the full age range, from Juniors to A Level, and to help shape a rich and inspiring creative curriculum.
We are looking for someone who will: • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and artistic exploration • Inspire pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND, to develop their artistic skills and confidence • Lead and contribute to exhibitions, projects, educational visits, and extra-curricular art activities • Support the wider school community, including pastoral responsibilities, and celebrate pupils’ achievements.
We welcome applications from both Early Career and experienced teachers. An additional teaching subject or experience in digital media, photography or other subject would be advantageous.
Located just three miles from the picturesque town of Berwick-upon-Tweed in North Northumberland, Longridge attracts pupils from across both sides of the Scottish Border. Our collaborative, innovative, and friendly environment provides a space where teachers and pupils alike can thrive.
