We are seeking a Marketing and Communications assistant to join the Marketing and Communications team at St Swithun's.
The marketing and communications team supports the senior and prep schools, playing a leading role in how the school communicates its identity, values and achievements. The team ensures the school's character and strengths are communicated clearly and consistently across a wide range of channels.
The department is led by the Head of Marketing and Communications and includes a Marketing and Communications Officer, a Marketing Events Officer, and this role. The team works closely together and collaborates with colleagues across all areas of school life, particularly admissions, teaching staff, operations and estates teams, and the senior and prep senior leadership teams.
The marketing team manages all external communications, promoting St Swithun's to current and prospective parents and pupils and the wider community. This includes digital communications, publications, events, and media relations as well as securing and enhancing the school's reputation locally, nationally and internationally.
The department's work has been recognised for its quality and creativity, including being shortlisted for a digital award at the AMCIS conference. The team takes pride in delivering high-quality, thoughtful communications and continually looks for ways to improve its approach.
This is a full-time permanent role with usual working hours of 08.30-17.00, Monday to Friday. Some weekend and evening work will be required, and time off in lieu will be given.
Full-time, required ASAP.
