At St Swithun’s we believe that mathematics is an intriguing and exciting subject that gives students the tools to tackle many of the challenges of later life with confidence.

Description

The mathematics department consists of the head of department and six experienced teachers. Mathematics is a highly successful and popular subject at St Swithun’s. It is usual for around half of sixth form students to study mathematics and a good number choose to study further mathematics. We follow the Edexcel specifications for IGCSE and A level.
