In July 2026, St George's Ascot joined the St Albans Group (STAEG). In April 2026, we announced our future partnership with St George's School Windsor Castle and our plan to develop a new co-educational through school. The new through school, which is anticipated to be fully operational by September 2028, will offer a seamless educational journey from ages 3 to 18 with access to excellent facilities across the two existing sites. St George's Ascot, as a step towards the co-educational future will welcome boys, together with girls, into Years 7 and 9 from September 2027.

St George's Ascot, offers a range of languages as 'paid extras' taught by visiting tutors, and we currently have a vacancy for a Tutor of Chinese to start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will provide one-to-one private lessons to pupils studying Chinese and guide them in their preparation for GCSE and/or A-Level examinations.

We are looking for a fluent speaker of Chinese with an understanding of the UK education system. Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a collaborative attitude are essential.

This is a Self-employed position. The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining the details of parents and invoicing them directly. Sessions vary in duration between 30-60 minutes long and usually on a one-to-one basis. The School will guide price setting and initially this is suggested to be in the region of £45 per hour. A charge of £15 per student p, per term is made for the use of the School's facilities and is billed in arrears.

  • Staff swimming sessions and family swimming sessions in the 25m, six-lane indoor pool.
  • Ample free onsite parking
  • The post holder's children, may upon passing the entrance assessments, be eligible at the discretion of the Governors for a reduction on the basic tuition fees.
