St Mary's Calne
St Mary's Calne is a boarding and day school of around 360 girls aged 11–18. Approximately 80% of the girls board and it is a rich boarding life with all girls taking part in the full-curriculum and co-curricular activities. It is the individualised approach to every aspect of school life that makes St Mary’s Calne special.
All girls go on to higher education, and a lecture programme, debating, careers advice and much more prepare the girls for university and beyond.

St Mary’s is committed to providing an education that will challenge and inspire its pupils, as well as helping them to achieve excellent public examination results. On average, 10% of the girls go on to Oxbridge every year and the vast majority of the girls get into their first choice of university.
As well as being noted for academic excellence, St Mary’s is renowned for outstanding pastoral care. The school has approximately 360 girls, including a strong Sixth Form ( approx 120 girls), and it is a close and caring community where every girl is known and cared for as an individual. Every girl has a Tutor to support and guide her through every aspect of school life; from organisational skills and subject choices through to university application.
St Mary’s Calne is situated two hours west of London and offers a coach service to Reading and London on Fixed Exeat Weekends and Half Terms.
